Brentwood and Ongar Conservative Association (BOCA) has confirmed its candidates for the forthcoming Essex County Council elections on 4th May 2017.
A team of two men and two women have been chosen to stand in the four seats.
Louise McKinlay, who is Leader of Brentwood Council and currently represents the Hutton North ward will be standing in the Brentwood Hutton Division, which covers all of Hutton, along with Herongate, Ingrave and West Horndon.
Lesley Wagland will be standing in the Brentwood - Rural ward, covering Ingatestone, Fryerning and Mountnessing, Tipps Cross, South Weald and Brizes and Doddinghurst wards.
John Kerslake, who is the Deputy Leader of Brentwood Council will be standing in the Brentwood North Division, which covers Brentwood North, Pilgrims Hatch and Shenfield.
Andy Wiles, who is a borough councillor for Brentwood South will be standing in the same-named Division, which covers Brentwood South, Brentwood West and Warley.
President of BOCA, Jan Pound said, "We have selected a strong team of candidates, all of whom have a lot of experience in local government, so they can hit the ground running as they work to get results for residents. They are already out campaigning and I look forward to working with them over the coming months as we do all we can to see them represent our borough on Essex County Council."
