Brentwood Council rolls out Electrical Vehicle Chargers at Town Hall

Building a Greener Brentwood

As part of it's ambitious green agenda Brentwood Borough Council has recently rolled out Electrical Vehicle Chargers at the Town Hall.

The Conservative Government has advanced proposals to that begin to eliminate the sale of petrol and diesel motor vehicles from 2030 and this local initiative in Brentwood is a positive step forward.  The rapid charge point is available to residents with an EV vehicle on a 24/7 basis.

The new townhall rapid charge point will help to reduce over 1.75 tonnes of CO2 entering the environment during it's lifetime.  The charger can provide a charge of 80% within just 30 minutes which makes it a very timely offering for EV drivers who are visiting Brentwood Town Centre.

Your Conservative led council is taking positive action to make sure that we build a greener Brentwood locally and a sustainable environment globally.
