Local Conservatives are really embracing the Big Society. The Borough Council has successfully given over £50k to local community and voluntary groups to help support them in their local initiatives. The Royal Legion British Youth Band, the newly created Brentwood Bag Project and schemes that help vulnerable people in Brentwood have all benefitted from the scheme. As from April, this fund will see extra investment by over 25% as we seek to help even more good causes.
