Community Speed Watch Training - Date Announced!

Community Speed Watch

Brentwood Conservatives have arranged for a Community Speed Watch training session to take place on the 8th December at 2pm.

Leader of the Council, Louise McKinlay, who arranged the event said, "Speeding traffic is one of the main concerns that residents raise to us. The volunteer scheme has already been rolled out to some parts of the Borough, with some success and we are hoping to extend it further in other areas."

The training will be carried out by the Police, who will teach volunteers how to use the speed gun equipment, so sessions can then be arranged in known speeding hot-spots. There is no minimum time commitment, but the more volunteers there are, the better.
