Extra parking spaces for residents living in Coram Green are now in place, thanks to the hard work of Hutton North councillor, Louise McKinlay.
Residents had complained to Louise that there were too few parking spaces available, and the edge of the green was getting churned up with grass and mud everywhere.
Cllr McKinlay said, “I am thrilled to see the next phase of the extra carparking spaces in place at Coram Green. The work has come about as a result of me working closely with residents and securing the necessary Council funding to build them."
“The first part of the scheme was delivered 18months ago and has been a great success. This latest phase will help make the parking situation easier for those living on the other side of the green as well, by providing more spaces near them. The open space ambience of the area is still protected and my residents are happy. This is a small success, but one which will have a very positive impact locally!”
