Two new councillors elected in the Ongar area
Ongar & Rural County Division
Jaymey McIvor was elected as the new County Councillor for Ongar & Rural at the elections on Thursday. Jaymey is already a District Councillor on Epping Forest District Council and is keen to build on the hard work of County Cllr Maggie McEwen.
High Ongar, Willingale & The Rodings
Ray Balcombe is the newly elected District Councillor for High Ongar, Willingale and The Rodings. Ray received 522 votes from local residents.
Also re-elected on Thursday were Cllrs Heather Brady (Passingford) and Ian Hadley (Moreton and Fyfield). Chris Whitbread was also elected as the new County Councillor for North Weald and Nazeing.
