Pelican Crossing for Mountnessing at Roman Road
In addition to our successful push for the expansion of the Primary School, Mountnessing will get the pelican crossing at Roman Road that it has always deserved. Following many years of hard work and securing the necessary grant of £100,000 from South Essex Parking Partnership Jon Cloke and Lesley Wagland have successfully put in place a project to deliver a Pelican crossing in Mountnessing from the Shops and School across the notorious 40mph Roman Road.
The project has the full support of Mountnessing Parish Council and is currently at the Design Stage with the Highways team at Essex County Council.
