Cllr Sandy Tanner

Hutton North - Brentwood Borough Council

Cllr Sandy Tanner - Sandy was elected as a councillor for Hutton North ward in May 2019. His campaign and work since being elected has focused on keeping weekly black bag collections, completing tree works in Hutton Poplars, parking improvements in the Coram Green area, and delivering a new play area at the Hutton Recreation Ground. Sandy has also worked with Essex County Council to ensure road and pavement repairs are prioritised. Sandy has worked in a variety of campaigning roles and has also been an Assistant Manager at a nursing home – and believes that reform of the social care system, along with the delivery of new housing, are amongst the most important domestic priorities for the country.   Sandy is Vice Chair of the Audit and Scrutiny Committee.

Cllr Peter Jakobsson - Peter moved to Stondon Massey back in 1972. Peter was a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral as a child and today is an active member of the Hutton & Shenfield Choral Society.

Cllr John Kerslake - John was first elected to Hutton Central ward back in 2012.  He currently serves as Vice Chair on the Environment, Enforcement & Housing Committee and also sits on the Planning & Licensing Committee.

Cllr Roger McCheyne - Roger and his family have lived in Doddinghurst for many years and Roger was first elected as local Councillor in 2008.  He has chaired both the Planning & Licesning and the Audit Committee.   Currently he is Vice Chair of Planning & Licensing.

Cllr Tom McLaren - Tom was first elected to South Weald in 2018.   He has previously been a councillor in Redbridge.   Tom lives in Blackmore with his family and is a keen cyclist.   Tom currently serves on the Planning & Licensing Committee.
