Postal and Proxy Voting

Need a postal or proxy vote at election time ?

Many residents choose to vote by post. Simply complete and return the appropriate application form to your local council.  Once registered for a postal vote they will send you your ballot paper in the post about ten days before polling day for each election. You simply return your vote to your council by post before the election using the envelope that they will have provided.

Every year many people who mean to vote are unable to make it to the polling station. Family commitments, work pressures, holidays or illness can all mean that voting may become impossible.   Postal voting is a very simple way to maximise the chance that you can do so.  Simply follow the links below to register to vote by Post (or alternatively by Proxy).
